Stuck in an elevator
SO.... I GOT STUCK IN AN ELEVATOR! For and hour and a half. We were leaving Matt & Lee's apartment and of course we were lazy and didn't take the stairs. Next thing I know the thing stopped and we couldn't get out. Apparently, this sort of thing happens in France all the time. They were in no rush to get us out. We were told since the Pope was in town it might "take awhile".

Big popa visited Notra Dame the other day and people be going CRAZY. I couldn't get around town. Metros were closed down, the route to school was blocked, had to even get my bag checked just to walk down the street to school. My Sorbonne classes are right next to Notra Dame, so we got a bird eye view of the madness from the second floor of our classroom. It got so loud that our teacher let up out early. Thanks Benedict!!!

Family dinner
At least 2-3 times a week Matt, Lee, Aly, Noah and myself make dinner. We alternate who's cooking (although Aly and Matt aren't really allowed to cook), we drink some wine and enjoy each others company. Last week Meggie invited Lee and myself to her place for their family dinner. So yummy! We had chicken, couscous with dattes in it, salad and lots of red wine flowing. Later that night we went a candiene bar, The Moose where a lot of the guys like to go to watch American football games.

Over then Seine & through Luxembourg to Sorbonne I go!
By far my favorite thing about living in Paris so far are all the amazing sites I get to causualy walk by daily. I go to three different campuses here, for various classes. Which means I walk A LOT. My favorite part of the day is walking from my phonétique (my phonetics class where I learn how to say thing how real french people do, while wearing a funny head-set that makes me feel like i'm in Top Gun), to my french class. I walk through Luxembourg to Sorbonne, then to get home I walk across the Seine past Notra Dame to my train station. So amazing. Oh yeah, on the way home I get a sucre et beurre crepe everyday with Lee. So bad, but SO good.

G A Y Paris
One of the classes i'm taking is gay Paris. Of course I would take this. Lots of fun. My two favorite GB- Boyfriends are in the class with me. Last week we went on a field trip through the Gay district of Paris- Le Marais. I swear i'm never going to find a boyfriend if I keep hanging out in these areas. First the Castro, then Marais!

Matt spacing out as usual;)
